Spiritual Development

II Peter 3: 18 says: “But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” A believer’s spiritual development should be important to the church. We did not turn to Jesus Christ because we had everything we needed. Rather, we turned to Jesus Christ because we were hungry, thirsty, lost, lonely, and without hope. The church should never forget its responsibility to serve the individual believer while reaching out to the unbeliever. We believe that we should help others grow in God’s grace as they become more and more like Jesus Christ.
